The key!

KEY: Food does not contain, nor has it been prepared with or cooked with, the restrictive allergen. The restaurant has checked ingredients with the suppliers. Always inform your server of your food allergy.

Customers should aware that although the restaurant has reviewed recipes that contain food allergens, they cannot guarantee that cross-contact with other foods will be completely avoided on the premises.

The what?

The  Food  Code
Dining out with food allergies just got easier...

Finally, here is a universal color code for dining out.  Customers, like me, suffering from food allergies, and/or trying to avoid certain foods, will love this.

Restaurants simply mark each item on the menu with The Food Code stickers following the easy color key. (See next post)

The happy customers will learn which foods are free of their allergens on the menu by reading their enclosed info/letter. We recommend laminating the final Food Code Menu.
It’s efficient. It’s cost-effective. It’s safer.  It’s the new Food Code.
